We don’t work out of a glass tower in a big city, we’re located in one of the hearts of New Zealand’s primary sector: Tauranga. Some are experts in data collection and analysis, some are scientists, some are world-class software developers and project managers while others are business analysts and advisors.
What they all have in common though is a huge passion for their work and helping our customers succeed. That, and finding new ways to use the data from our on-premises test garden to help grow some of the best tomatoes around. Can’t do that in a glass tower.
OUR TEAM
What makes Cucumber special isn’t a magical technology, framework or tool (or methodology, philosophy or approach for that matter). What sets us apart is our people, their energy and their experience.
We search high and low for world-class designers, analysts, developers, project managers and relationship type folks and then we do our very best to convince them to come and work for us. Most of the time they agree (we can be very persuasive) and that - simple though it seems - is the secret behind a team of people from Hong Kong, Argentina, Bolivia, Colombia, England, South Africa and yes, even New Zealand, that our customers tell us they love to work with.
Having such a diverse team means we’re comfortable talking to anybody – from CEO’s, CFO’s and CTO’s (and all the other xO’s!) to sales and marketing teams, scientists, technical teams, not to mention orchard and farm managers, factory and field operation managers, health and safety advisors, forestry workers and even the occasional beekeeper.
Which is a roundabout way of saying we know how to find out how your business really works and how to make it even better.
