Cucumber and PGG Wrightson Win At The 2015 Sitecore Experience Awards

We are excited to announce that PGG Wrightson have won the Retail, Wholesale and Consumer Goods award at the 2015 Sitecore Experience Awards for Australia and New Zealand. Sitecore holds these awards annually, and we’re thrilled to be the only New Zealand digital agency to feature in these awards for the past 2 years.

PGG Wrightson and Cucumber won the award with their new corporate website, which went live in May 2015. Critical to the success of this project was ensuring that we understood the organisation and customers before considering a technical solution. As an organisation, PGG Wrightson is significant. It is one of the major suppliers to the New Zealand agricultural sector. While it was officially created in 2005, it has its roots in stock and station agencies that date back to 1861. Customers come to PGG Wrightson for assistance with an extensive range of products and services including seeds, grains, livestock, and irrigation, farm equipment, insurance, and financing.

The new website provides customers with a single brand view for PGG Wrightson, streamlined access to content based on customer's needs, and enables customers to access the site from desktop, tablet, and smartphone devices. When customers log in, they can also view transaction details, history, and query individual or groups of transactions.

We are gathering the results from an analytics perspective, and are now supported by this award, which puts PGW in a good place for their next phase of digital transformation.
